Saskatchewan posted the largest year-over-year increase in inflation among the provinces in August, thanks mainly to a hike in automobile insurance premiums, Statistics Canada said Friday. The province’s consumer price index (CPI) was up 1.9 per cent in August over the same period last year, matching the annual increase in July, the federal agency said.
